Open for Business!

It’s official: It was announced recently that cinemas, theatre and live event spaces have finally been allowed to reopen beginning 1st July! Let’s breathe life back into our scene by supporting upcoming events, but do mind the strict SOPs for everyone’s benefit.

 

Khizanat No More

But it’s curtains for one of the local Indie movement’s most important event spaces, Khizanat in Ipoh. The announcement of its closure was made on social media by its founder Mohd Jayzuan. But Jayzuan also shared that Khizanat will be resurrected soon at a “kampung” location. So, stay tuned!

‘The Bridge’ is Back

The gritty and gripping Singapore/Malaysia adaptation of the Nordic noir, ‘The Bridge’, is back with a second season, streamed on OTT platform Viu and HBO Asia. It stars our own Bront Palarae, Singapore’s Rebecca Lim and others from both sides of the causeway.
