Rizalman Drops an Unexpected Bomb

One of the doyens of Malaysian fashion design, Datuk Rizalman Ibrahim, 49, announced his unexpected retirement last week. During the Konsert Kesuma Jiwa 2020 held at Istana Budaya (where he paraded his final collection), a teary Rizalman addressed the audience and made the shocking announcement. We wish him all the best and thank him for three decades of stellar designs.

Pasca Sini On a Roll

A couple of weeks ago, we were wowed by their new single, ‘Fake Names’, and this week, the pop punk outfit from Damansara unleashed the music video for ‘Overthinking’, that has kept their fans buzzing. Keep ‘em coming, guys!

The Venopian Solitude’s Latest treat

Dubbed #Kutusiang, it’s a series where the globe-trotting band records acoustic version of songs during the day in some random city/town where they’re currently traveling. The latest is ‘Mahar 2.0’ – a sequel to the song ‘Mahar’, from their first album ‘Hikayat Perawan Majnun’. And this online only version was recorded in Trenčín, Slovakia. Enjoy!

Farewell Good Men

It was also a week where we said goodbye to two outstanding talents from two different generations. Actor Asraf Sinclair, 41, passed away unexpectedly on the 18th of February due to a heart attack. And a day later, we received news on the passing of award-winning author and literary giant KS Maniam (78) who lost his fight against cancer. Our heartfelt condolences go to both of their loving families.
